Questions people ask before switching
Does it need WordPress?
Yes. Booked is a plugin that runs on your own WordPress site, so your booking form lives on your domain and your data stays with you. If you don't have a site yet, we'll point you at the quickest route to one.
How does Booked Payments work?
Switch it on, add your bank details in the app, and you can take cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay straight away. We charge 2.9% + 49¢ per transaction and nothing else. Payouts go to your bank on a schedule you choose.
Can I move my customers over from another system?
Export a CSV from wherever you are now and import it. On Pro and Business, AI matches the columns for you, so a "Mobile No." column lands in the phone field without you mapping it by hand.
What happens when someone books and then rings up to cancel everything?
One button on their record stops every message - queued follow-ups, marketing, service messages. It's checked again at the moment of sending, because sequences run for months and the phone call usually comes after the first message.
Can I change plan later?
Yes, up or down, whenever you like. Moving up unlocks the extra features straight away. Moving down keeps your data - anything on a feature you no longer have just pauses.
